Excerpts from my recent interview with Meghan LaFlam...
At age 16, Miss Meghan LaFlam is our 2010 NHS Teen Idol Runner Up! Meghan was born in Wyckoff, NJ and now lives in Hawthorne, NJ.
Her earliest memory of performing was in preschool at a talent show were she danced to “We Will Rock You”!
Meghan’s musical interests vary from Pop to Jazz to Broadway to Classical and Rock! I found out that Meghan and I definitely have something in common, I am a Beatles fanatic and her favorite performer is John Lennon.
Currently she is attending a Carnegie Mellon Pre-College Program with a major in Musical Theatre! Where she is learning a lot and has classes from 9-6 every day! She also plays guitar, piano and a little bit of the drums. In her spare time she likes to read books and is learning to speak Italian! However, her main goal is to make it on Broadway within the next few years.

I’m sure that her biggest fan Grandma was very proud that she just won our NHS Teen Idol Runner Up title! Mom too!
In conclusion, Meghan is an amazing performer! I shared the experience of watching her perform and see her win her NHS Teen Idol title live! Absolutely FABULOUS!!! What a talent!!!
