Hello,
I am Alicia Colletti, Associate Producer of the National High School Teen Idol Contest.
We are a non-profit organization that hosts a multiple day event which encompasses and conveys support and education in the entertainment profession to our participants by way of workshops headed by icon professionals in the entertainment industry. It then culminates into a talent contest with a prize of (for 2010 contestants) $1000.00 CASH, a recording contract and a possible talent agency signing for (new for NHS Teen Idol 2011) 13 - 19 year olds! These PRIZES go to 2 Winners (one Female Winner and one Male Winner)!!! We also have a Mascot program where 10 - 12 year olds may participate in our workshops up to the quarter finals but not compete in the semi finals or finals because of age.
